Designing a healthcare space goes beyond creating functional rooms—it's about crafting an environment where patients feel comforted, cared for, and understood. This project follows the journey of a patient, from diagnosis through recovery, while seamlessly blending clinical spaces with emotional well-being. The top floor, uniquely designed as the doctor's residence, brings the concept full circle—turning a place of healing into a home.
Each floor represents a chapter in the patient's journey, using color psychology, materials, and organic forms to evoke both professionalism and warmth. While each level is distinctive, the design maintains a cohesive aesthetic, ensuring a smooth transition from one experience to the next—just like every step in the healing process.
Ground Floor – Reception | 'Orientation'
A warm welcome and grounding presence with warm neutrals, soft wood tones, and olive green palette. The space is inviting, grounded, and open, featuring a ripple-patterned wall that symbolizes the flow of patient movement. This sets a calming tone from the first moment, easing the transition into care.
Basement – Radiology | 'Discovery'
A space of clarity, precision, and clinical focus, using a palette of slate grey, white, and soft blue accents. The mood emphasizes quiet clarity and technical sophistication, with backlit installations mimicking X-rays and MRI visuals to celebrate the importance of diagnostics.
First Floor – Consultation & Procedures | 'Interaction'
Confidential care in a composed setting, featuring balanced beige, clinical white, and soft amber tones. The space maintains a calm, professional, and reassuring atmosphere through frosted glass panels with abstract figures and modular pods for flexible consultation setups.
Second Floor – Skin Care | 'Renewal'
A space of lightness, freshness, and rejuvenation, utilizing mint green, blush pink, ivory, and crisp white. The uplifting and bright environment features arched niches, botanical textures, and beauty lab-inspired counters to provide a space of self-care and rejuvenation.
Third Floor – Medical Services | 'Care'
Balanced treatment zones with emotional comfort, using light teal, muted taupe, and clean blue. The supportive and calm environment features soft partitions for privacy and integrated greenery in seating areas, ensuring patient well-being throughout their treatment journey.
Fourth Floor – Residence | 'Comfort'
Unlike the clinical nature of the other floors, the fourth level is deeply personal—it's the doctor's home. The space uses deeper wood tones, earthy hues, and cozy lighting to create a restful atmosphere. Textural richness through furnishings, curated artwork, and ambient lighting contribute to a private retreat. Here, the design shifts from clinical precision to home-like comfort—a place where the healer rests after a day of caring for others.
